Understanding Hot and Cold Forging:
- Hot Forging: As the name suggests, hot forging involves heating the metal to a temperature where it becomes malleable, typically above its recrystallization temperature. This allows the metal to be shaped without any cracking. Once heated, the metal is then deformed using our state-of-the-art equipment to achieve the desired shape.
- Cold Forging: Contrary to hot forging, cold forging deforms metal at room temperature or slightly above. The process enhances the strength of the metal due to strain hardening and ensures a superior surface finish.
